The Technical Bits

Most of the photos on this blog are taken with a Canon PowerShot SX20IS. They are stored on an 8 GB, 2GB, or 526 MB card. I use Picasa to sort and edit my photos and highly recommend it!

I find that my PowerShot is easy to use and reliable. It take splendid up close photos using the Super Macro feature in Custom. The zoom feature is quite powerful and the Image Stabilizing feature is a must when you're zoomed in 60x.
I wish it was a bit smaller as I attract quite a bit of attention at times, kneeling down and pointing it straight at the sky. So when photography might be a problem, I use my smaller Canon PowerShot A590IS
which is far less inconspicuous, but takes lower quality photos.
